Live Wedding Painting
Your Love Story,
Painted in the Moment
What is Live Wedding Painting?
a live painting is a custom artwork created on your wedding day
I capture your chosen moment in real time — transforming it into a painting that reflects the emotion and beauty of the day. As the scene comes to life, guests naturally gather to watch, creating a memorable experience and a meaningful reveal for you at the end of the night.
It's not just a painting. It's a moment preserved — and experienced.
How it works
1. Inquire & Check Availability
Submit an inquiry through my contact form. I respond personally to confirm your date. Because I accept a limited number of weddings each year, dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Consultation & Creative Planning
We'll schedule a consultation to discuss your vision — the moment you'd like captured, your colors, canvas size, and meaningful details that make it uniquely yours. You'll receive a custom proposal, and a $500 retainer and signed contract secure your date. Flexible payment plans are available.
3. The Wedding Day
I arrive before your ceremony to capture reference photos and set up my easel. I paint the moment we selected — ceremony, first dance, or another meaningful scene — aligned with your timeline. Guests are welcome to watch as it comes to life.
4. After the Wedding
Your painting is refined in the studio with 20-40+ hours of detail work to create a polished heirloom. It's finished as a varnished, gallery-wrapped canvas, ready to hang with a signed certificate of authenticity, and securely delivered to you.

A 6x6 ft. painting area near an outlet for my lighting, and one small low round table ( 24" cocktail/cafe table) to hold my supplies. I do not need a tall high-top bar table. I can also bring my own - just let me know ahead of time.

Live wedding paintings focus primarily on the couple, with a limited number of additional figures depending on the collection.
Keepsake (18×24) - Designed for the couple only.
Signature (22×28) - Designed for the couple only.
Classic (24×30) - Couple with option to include up to two additional figures or pets.
Heirloom (24×36) - Allows for additional figures, with more space for detail and storytelling.
Grand Heirloom (30×40) - Ideal for including multiple figures and capturing more of the scene.
Additional guests or pets may be added to larger paintings for an additional fee.
If you’re envisioning a painting that includes a larger group or full wedding party, this can absolutely be created. During the live event, I focus on bringing the couple to near completion and capturing the overall scene and atmosphere.
Additional figures are then carefully refined in the studio afterward, where I can give each person the time and attention to detail they deserve.
For more complex scenes, I may recommend a custom studio commission created from your wedding photos to ensure the highest level of detail and accuracy.

The moment is chosen together in advance during our design consultation.
Some couples are drawn to a quiet, intimate moment - a first look, walk down the aisle, or just after the vows. Others love the energy of the reception - first dance, grand ballroom, or the celebration as it comes alive.
During our consultation I help guide this by asking what you want the painting to feel like - intimate and focused on the two of you, or a fuller scene capturing your florals, lighting, architecture, and atmosphere?
I then coordinate closely with your timeline and photographer so the painting reflects a natural, meaningful perspective that feels authentic to you.

Once we confirm availability for your date, I create a custom proposal for your event. To reserve your wedding date on my calendar, a signed contract and a $500 retainer is all that is required.
The remaining balance can be paid through a payment plan, with all payments completed prior to the wedding date.
-
Yes. To reserve your wedding date, a $500 retainer and a signed contract is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be divided into additional payments leading up to the wedding.
Typical payment schedule:
$500 retainer, plus two additional payments
All payments are completed prior to the wedding date.
Example (Keepsake Collection - $1900) :
Retainer : $500
Payment 2: $700
Payment 3: $700 (final payment)
Total= $1900
This allows many couples to spread the investment over several months during the planning process.
The retainer is non-refundable and required to hold your wedding date.
